Setup and Preparation
To train everyone efficiently and comfortably, we'll be uploading the slides for your course to our website, allowing us to run them side-by-side with Google AdWords™. To do this, we need to confirm the PC setup and other facilities available at your premises.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
We look forward to meeting you on the day.
Time and format
Our courses start around 10.00am and finish around 5.30pm with a break for lunch.
These are intensive courses, and you should arrange for messages to be taken for you rather than interrupting the session. We recommend that you dress casually and comfortably.
Please let us know if you will be providing refreshments during lunch, or if these can be purchased locally (within walking distance) by our trainer.
PC and Internet
We require a PC (or Apple computer) with broadband Internet access.
The PC screen should have a resolution of 1024x768 (or better). If you purchased your system in the last 3 years, it will almost certainly meet or exceed this requirement.
We'll be saving files from the hands-on portion of the training to this PC so they are available to you after the course.
If you plan on using a meeting room for our training, please check that you can access an external website (e.g. this one).
Our slides are tested for correct display on Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7 (or higher), Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome.
Our Google AdWords™ training courses include a number of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and PDFs (which you can download and keep).
If your PC doesn't have Microsoft Office installed, we'll email you the Excel spreadsheets.
You can download a free copy of Adobe Reader here
Whiteboard or flipchart
A whiteboard or flipchart is a very helpful addition if you have one available.
All our courses provide a complete introduction to Google AdWords™, so there's no need to do any preparation. However, this is a great opportunity to review your marketing plans, and ensure you have up-to-date figures for your costs and profit margins.
